Peer Transfers let you send and receive funds instantly between verified UR users using their UR ID. Transfers are processed in real time with no transfer fees, making it a fast and convenient way to move funds within the UR ecosystem. Whether you're splitting a bill, repaying a friend, or transferring funds between users, simply enter the recipient's UR ID to get started.

 

Peer Transfer vs Bank Transfer

Using Peer Transfer

Sending Funds
UR Web
  1. Sign in to your UR account through the UR Web Login page.
  2. Select Send, then choose Peer Transfer.
  3. Select the currency you want to send, then enter the transfer details, including the amount and the recipient's UR ID.
  4. Review the transfer details and click Send to confirm the transaction.
  5. Once the transfer is completed, the funds will be credited to the recipient's UR account instantly.
UR App
  1. Open the UR App and sign in to your UR account.
  2. Tap Send, then select Send via Peer Transfer.
  3. Select the currency you want to send, then enter the transfer details, including the amount and the recipient's UR ID.
  4. Review the transfer details and tap Send to confirm the transaction.
  5. Once the transfer is completed, the funds will be credited to the recipient's UR account instantly.
Receiving Funds
UR Web
  1. Sign in to your UR account through the UR Web Login page.
  2. Hover over the menu icon in the top-right corner of the page, then select the QR Code icon.
  3. Share your UR ID or QR code with the sender.
  4. Once the sender completes the transfer, the funds will be credited to your UR account instantly.
UR App
  1. Open the UR App and sign in to your UR account.
  2. Tap Add, then choose Peer Transfer.
  3. Share your UR ID or QR code with the sender.
  4. Once the sender completes the transfer, the funds will be credited to your UR account instantly.

 

FAQ — Peer Transfer

What are the minimum and maximum Peer Transfer amounts?

The minimum Peer Transfer amount is 0.01 in the selected supported currency.

The maximum amount you can transfer is limited by your available balance in that currency and any applicable account transaction limits.

Can I transfer digital assets using Peer Transfer?

No. Peer Transfers currently support fiat currencies only. To transfer digital assets, please use the Digital Asset Wallet transfer function.

Are there any fees for Peer Transfers?

No. Peer Transfers are free of charge. UR does not charge any fees for sending or receiving funds between verified UR users.

Why can't I send funds to another user?

Please ensure that:

  • The recipient is a verified UR user.
  • You have entered the recipient's UR ID correctly.
  • You have sufficient available balance in the selected currency.
  • Your account is able to make transfers and has not reached any applicable transaction limits.
How long do Peer Transfers take?

Peer Transfers are processed instantly. Once the transfer is successfully submitted, the funds are credited to the recipient's UR account immediately and are available for use.

For your security: UR will only contact you from official @ur.app email addresses or through in-app notifications. We will never ask for your password, private keys, or any sensitive credentials via email. If you receive a suspicious message claiming to be from UR, please do not respond and contact our support team immediately.
